Subject: Application  for organizing a debating club.

Sir,

I, on behalf of the students of your school, would like to draw your attention to the fact that our university is a renowned university but we have no debating club. We are proud that there is ample scope to practice extra-curricular activities in our school. But in want of a debating club we cannot practice and participate in any debating competition. Debating club develops skills of speaking or delivering speech what is essential for us for future leadership. It helps us to flourish our hidden talent. For this, there is no alternative to setting up a debating club in our university.

We, therefore, hope that you would be gracious enough to consider our problem with sympathy and set up a debating club here.
